TERMS AND CONDITIONS

PAYMENT TERMS

To confirm your booking a non-refundable payment of 25% of total quote is required within seven (7) days of quote being received. We reserve the right to cancel a booking if the deposit is not made within seven (7) days of confirmation. The balance is required seven (7) days prior to your event and is conditional to a site inspection by our staff. At the completion of the event a final invoice may be sent for mutually agreed contingencies such as additional guests / hire / staff / breakages. Each page of the final quote is to be signed, dated and returned via email seven (7) days prior. This quote becomes void if both of these procedures are not fulfilled. Payment in full without signing the pages of the quotes will constitute full confirmation. The guaranteed number of guests are final seven (7) days prior. This is the final minimum number for which you will be charged – a decrease will not be accepted hereafter. Increase of numbers will be accepted up to two (2) working days prior to the event. For events with 400 guests or more, we will require an extended confirmation period of ten (10) working days for minimum numbers and an increase in guest numbers to be received no later than five (5) working days prior to the event. We reserve the right to include an interest charge of 20% per annum for monies outstanding after seven (7) days.

CANCELLATION

Cancellation or postponements are required in writing. A cancellation or postponement received after 10am, ten(10) working days prior will render the full quoted amount payable. PAYMENT Electronic funds transfer, cheques and credit cards (MASTERCARD/VISA – 2% AMERICAN EXPRESS 3%) PRICING A number of our menus will include a minimum charge for food. All fees are subject to GST being added unless stated otherwise Fees quoted do not include venue commission and where applicable will be added to final invoice

We do not guarantee the complete omission of nut products in your menu items. Menus are subject to seasonal changes. Fees apply for special menu dietary requirements.

BEVERAGE

We practice and enforce the responsible service of alcohol and its harm minimisation objectives. Our beverage house policy is available on request.

SERVICE STAFF

Fee includes all relevant staff insurance and associated payroll responsibilities. Should staff be required beyond hours booked, they will be invoiced at $55.00 each per half hour interval thereafter.

TRAVEL ALLOWANCE

Travel allowance on application for areas outside the 15km boundary of the Le Coq Healthy Rotisserie, Rozelle..

SERVICE EQUIPMENT

Service equipment and its liability remain the responsibility of the client. You will be responsible for any shortfalls, losses or breakages of equipment.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Whilst we take all possible care, you acknowledge and accept that we are not responsible for loss of or damage to any goods or property supplied by you or brought by you or your guests to the venue of your event, and release us from any liability in respect of such loss or damage. Without limiting that statement, you are solely responsible for any loss or damage to the venue, building(s), furniture, fittings and equipment, be the venue a hired premise, private home or office premises. In addition, whilst we use the freshest and market best available produce, prepared under proper hygienic conditions, we accept no liability for any latent defect in any product used by us.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS ACCEPTANCE

Upon confirmation of your event with Garden Party Events whether written or verbal, we will deem this as an acceptance of our terms and conditions. A deposit forms a confirmation of an event booking or order. We agree to keeping the contents of your events private, to not use material generated from these events to promote our business or approach your suppliers or subcontractors for engagement outside your business without your written permission. In turn, we ask the same courtesy of you. “We”, “us” and “our” refer to Le Coq Garden Party Events – the event caterer ABN 67115955238.
